At the same time Not good either...  :) Ya am talking about the Eating culture
Since everything is fast.. and people find no time to cook the food and go for  fast food/ Packed food
It's not that am blaming you guys.. it happens in most house, where both parents are working.
They find difficult to find time... But remember
We earn Name, Fame, Money everything just for our(family) comfort living.
So try to find some good time for you Oneself and for the family too.. this is much important.

And try to Cook healthy and Eat healthy..

So i will try this week, to post recipes which are easy to prepare and quick one and HEALTHY too.. specially dedicated for working people and Lovely kids :)

Kids are more attracted towards the colorful dishes. So taking this as advantage, bring some colorful vegetables to your kitchen right today..
One of them is Carrots. Healthy, with loads of calcium and Vitamin A which does wonder on eyes..
Especially in children.. they like it in any form.. So here we go with carrot paratha today..

CARROT PARATHA

Ingredients:
Fresh Carrots - 250 gms
Whole Wheat Flour - 500gms
Milk - 1 tbsp
Cooking oil -3 Tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Cilantro leaves - 3 sticks 
*Aam chur powder - 3 pinch (optional)
Green chillies - 3 no's (optional)
Water to knead the dough
Salt to taste

* Aam chur is dry Mango powder, readily available in market

Preparation:

For Parathas
  • In deep bowl, take some warm water.
  • Add some salt
  • Add milk, then stir well  till the salt is dissolved completely 
  • Then add tsp of oil , mix in the flour.
  • Mix all together to make a soft dough.
  • Keep it aside for 20 minutes by covering air tight lid over it.
For Stuffing:
  • In pan, heat the oil.
  • Throw in some mustard seeds.. allow to splutter
  • Then add Cleaned and finely grated carrot
  • Fry for a min in high flame
  • And then add some salt to taste, and then aam chur powder, green chillies and cilantro leaves.
  • Put the flame to low and cook it for 4 minutes by constantly stirring it.
  • Put it off from stove.
  • Let it cool to room temperature
To make stuffed parathas:
  • Take small portions of dough
  • And roll it into round circle
  • Similarly roll all the dough.
  • smear oil on one side of rolled  circle
  • Then take a portion of the  Carrot stuffing and spread it over the oil smeared circle
  • And cover the stuffing with another rolled circle.. such like sandwich of circle, carrot and circle.
  • Shallow Fry the stuffed parathas on pan by oiling either side.
  • And the carrot paratha is ready to eat.
  • This can be accompanied with Curd/ chutney.
