This is one of the should and must dish in plantain leaf on every occasion of festivals.
And also for this hot summer.. green gram dhal and cucumber will bring coolness .

Here is very simple and easy recipe of hesaru bele kosambari  ..

Ingredients:
Cucumber - 1 medium sized
Green gram dhal - 150 gms
Cilantro leaves - 3 sticks
Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup
Green chilly- 3 No
Curry leaves - 1 stick
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cooking oil - 1 tsp
Salt to taste

Method of preparation:
  • Clean and Soak the green gram for about half an hour.
  • Chop the cucumber by removing the outer skin and inner pulp, into fine chop.
  • Finely chop cilantro and chillies.
  • Mix all together cucumber, green gram dhal, chillies, cilantro , coconut, salt.
  • Then at last season it with mustard and curry leaves.
  • Kosambari is ready to serve.
