Sweet avalakki/ Sihi Avalakki

Usually on fasting days, in our south/North India Avalakki/flatten rice is considered as fasting food.
So here is the easiest recipe that's quick one to prepare and tastes wonderful

Here follows the recipe

SIHI AVALAKKI / SWEET AVALAKKI

Ingredients required:

Avalakki / Flatten Rice - 2 Cups
Jaggery /Bella - 1/4 Cup
Coconut / thengina kayi - 1/4 Cup
Cardamom / Ellakki - 4 no's
Banana/ chukke Baalehannu- 2 No's

How to prepare:
1) Soak the cleaned Avalakki in water for 10 minutes.
2) Strain the water from avalakki and add all the above ingredients and mix well.



Sihi avalakki is ready to eat.
