MANDYA SPECIAL KAALU SOUP/ LEG SOUP


Hey there!!
Am back here with another non-veg delicacy and much considered to be the 
healthy slurp slurp... :)  makes bone strong.

yep...  you got it right... its soup :)

Usually pain in joint or weak in bones... in children, elders or anyone can 
be treated by having a hot bowl of soup! :)

Early morning is preferred time to have this hot soup. 
So why wait??

Let me share the recipe for the same.


KAALU SOUP/ LAMB LEG SOUP

Ingredients required:

Lamb Legs - 4 No's
Onion - 1/2 medium sized finely chopped
Tomato -1/2 medium sized finely chopped
Black Pepper- 1 teaspoon pounded
Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon pounded
Cilantro leaves - few twigs
Mint leaves - few leaves
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 teaspoon
Cooking oil - 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste

How to prepare:
1) Clean the leg by washing it multiple times.



2) In an pressure cooker, add oil
3) After couple of minutes, add ginger garlic paste and fry  finely chopped onion 

and tomato fry till it turns mushy
4) Add mint leaves, cilantro, salt , pepper 
5) Finally add cleaned leg and 3/4 liter of water.
6) Wait till the 7-8 whistles and turn off the flame.

Hot and spicy leg soup is ready.
