Beans palya / Hurulikayi palya

Ingredients:

Beans - 1/4 kg
Bengal gram - 1 tsp
Black gram - 1/2 tsp
Green chillies - 3 No
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Grated coconut - 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Cooking oil - 4 tsp

Method of Preparation:
  • Heat oil in pan, add mustard and let it splutter.
  • Then add curry leaves, bengal gram and black dhal
  • Then add chopped green chilly  along with finely cleaned and chopped beans.
  • Fry for 2 min .
  • Then sprinkle some water and add salt
  • Cook till done.
  • And finally dash it with grated coconut.
  • Hurulikyi palya is ready to serve.
Along with most rice-curry, palya is gonna be side dish in pure veg thali... 
So this takes the highest ranking among palyas..
