Aloo Cutlet

One fine day .... 
Got to do Cutlet ... for Praj... :) 
It's just try ......

Ingredients:

Potato - 1/4 kg
Onion - 2 medium sized
Cumin seeds - 3 pinch
Green Chilly - 2 No
Red Chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 2 pinch
Garam masala - 3 pinch
Salt Bread - 1/2 Pound
Common Flour - 2 tbsp
Cilantro leaves - 2 sticks
Mint leaves - Just for flavor
Cup of water
Salt to taste
Cooking oil - 3 tbsp

Method of preparation (Stuffing masala):
  • Clean the potatoes and boil it .
  • Allow it to cool, by running cold water over it.
  • Peel the skin and keep it aside
  • In Pan , heat the 1/2 tbsp of oil.Add cumin.
  • Add finely chopped onion, and fry till golden brown
  • Then add green chillies, turmeric, chilly powder, salt .
  • Mean time smash the boiled potatoes and add to the above masala.
  • Finally add finely chopped mint leaves, cilantro leaves and then garam masala.
  • Mix all together well.
  • and the Stuffing masala is ready.

Method of preparing Cutlet using above Stuffing masala :




  • Dip bread in water, and remove the excess water in it by squeezing.
  • Follow same proceedure with rest of the bread slices.
  • In Cup mix the flour and water , to form batter with a pinch of salt.
  • Heat the pan and smear oil.
  • Stuff aloo masala in between bread (dipped one above)
  • And coat it with batter .
  • Now shallow fry the cutlet over medium flame.
  • Until its golden crisp.
  • Bisi bisi aloo Cutlet is ready to serve.   
  • Its good combination with mint chutney :)
