just in 5 min preparation, Tomato Gojju
Ingredients:
Ripen Tomato - 1/2 kg
Onion - 2 Big sized
mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Turmeric - 2 pinch
Red chilly powder - 1tsp
Curry leaves - 1 stick
Cooking Oil - 1/2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Method of Preparation :
- Heat the oil in pan.
- Add mustard seeds, and let it splutter.
- Then add curry leaves
- Add thinly sliced onion into it.And fry till the onions are translucent.
- Then add turmeric, chilly powder, salt. Fry for min.
- And then add finely chopped tomatoes.
- Keep stirring under medium flame, till tomato skin gets separated from its pulp...
- And tomatoes are well cooked (oil floats )
- And the Tomato gojju is ready to serve
- It goes well with chapathy and hot steaming rice as well... :)
