Easy, Tasty, Healthy.. Soya Veggie Pulao

 Kids will surely love this Pulao.. :)

Soya chunks is the main ingredient in this pulao.
The vegetarians can have a taste of chicken .. ahh no confusion..
Am talking about soya chunks, which tastes much similar to chicken.

Ingredients:

Soya chunks -2 hand full
Rice - 1/2 kg
Onion - 3 Medium sized
Garlic pods -  12 no
Ginger - 2 inch
Red chilly powder- 1 tsp
Coriander Powder -1/4 tsp
Curd - 1/2 cup
Cinnamon stick - 2 inch
Cloves -5 no
Kasoori methi - 2 tsp
Bay leaf - 1 no
Cooking oil - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste

Method of Preparation:
  • Boil some water and add the soya chunks to it. Put off the flame.
  • Keep it aside for 3 min and then squeeze the soya chunks for taking away water in it.
  • In Cooking pan, add Oil.
  • Add Cinnamon, Clove, Kasoori methi, Cardamom , Bay leaf to it.
  • After it starts spluttering, add finely chopped Onion, and cook till its golden brown.
  • Then add ginger garlic paste and fry till the fine aroma of garlic comes.
  • Add chilly powder, coriander powder and curd and fry the masala for about 3 min.
  • Then add soya chunks and fry again for about 2 min.
  • Measure the water and add it to above masala.
  • Then add rice and salt .
  • Mix all together. And cook the rice for about 12 min.
  • Or in pressure cooker, 2 whistle is enough to cook .
  • And here the Soya Veggie Pulao is ready to serve.
This goes very well  with raitha.
