Chikadikayi Palya VARIETY 2

Another post on chikadikayi....
Another variety of chikadikayi palya ..
So wats more ? Try this too.. :)
It tastes very good as the fine aroma of fresh garlic and fried Pea nut.. will surely carry away.. :)

Ingredients:
Chikadikayi /Broad beans - 250gms
Cooking oil - 3 tsp
Garlic pods -5 no
Pea nut - 4 tsp
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Onion - 1 medium
Red Chilly - 4 no
Salt to taste


Preparation:
  • Clean the chikadikayi by splitting in between. And chop to a length of 1 inch
  • Dry fry Peanut, remove outer skin and crush it to make rough powder.
  • Crush garlic roughly.
  • In pan heat oil.Add mustard, allow to splutter.
  • Add onion, and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Then add cleaned chikadikayi, salt and cook till tender.
  • Then add crushed garlic, and peanut powder.
  • Mix all together over low flame .. saute for 2 min.
  • Chikadikayi palya is ready to serve.
