Potato fry -Aloogade palya jain special

Jain dishes will not have onion, garlic in them.
So the dishes which excludes onion and garlic come under JAIN menu :)

Ingredients:
Potato - 1/2 kg
mustard - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - 2 sticks
salt to taste
cooking oil -3 tsp
Kasoori methi 2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp - 1/2 tsp
Green Chilly - 5 No
Cilantro leaves - 2 sticks
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder- 1/4 tsp

Method of Preparation:
  • Heat the oil in pan, add mustard and allow till it splutters.
  • Add curry leaves,cumin, fry for 1/2 minute.
  • Then add kasoori methi , green chilly, turmeric 
  • Add smashed potato and mix well 
  • Add salt to taste and finally splash garam masala , cilantro  over it.
  • Fry well for 2 minutes by mixing all together.
