Low Calorie Carrot Halwa

A weekend special.... for all sweet tooth people.. 

CARROT HALWA


Ingredients:

Fresh Carrot- 1/2 kg
Sugar- 350gms
Milk-3/4 liter
Cardamom seeds- 10 gms
Dry Raisins- fist full
Badam & Pistachios- Fist full
Clarified butter- 1 tbsp


Preparation:
  • Clean the Carrot by scrapping the outer skin
  • Finely grate the carrots.
  • Boil milk and grated carrot together in a bowl in medium flame
  • For about nearly 20 min.
  • When almost the the carrot is done and milk is condensed .. add sugar
  • And keep stirring it till the sugar gets dissolved and forms bit thick sugary syrup..
  • Then add Clarified butter to it and mix well ...
  • Hmmmm... you can feel the aroma.. rite now
  • Then atlast add fried dry fruits and cardamom powder.
  • That's done with your CARROT HALWA... low calorie one


You can add Sweet-less Kova if u don't mind piling up some extra flab... hey kidding...
