Ganesha Chathurthi

Hey.. Dear friends.. I was away from blogging for a while ...
hectic schedule in office which made CRAZY :^|

But am Back with bang .... dhooommmm....bahshhhhhhhhh.....
to share few good moments in this lap of time..

Yep a couple of days back was Ganesha Chathurthi
and same day was Gowri festival too..

It was very wonderful occasion as we complete family celebrated
with high spirit.. seeing smile on every one's face was like 1000 candle lamp.
The Ganesha Idol and Gowri Idol were decorated with varieties of flowers and twinkling lights ... and MODAK in front of god Ganesha..
and our little kids wandering with perfectly dressed up in ethnic wears
and of course digital cam in our hand to cover this happy moments .. :)

And we all ladies together performed Gowri pooja and then all men together performed
Ganesha pooja.. Then it was time for breaking the fast... after a day long pooja.

There were N number of varieties of dishes which were specially cooked on such occasions
or exclusively on Ganesha chathurthi..

Starting from sweets, Holige, Modaka(Kadubu), hesarbele kosambri, kadalebele kosambri,
kara kadubu, otthhu savige bath, vegetable palav, bean and veg curry , holige saaru, etc...
ufffff... tummy full.

Later we had planned outing and left home.. and had fun filled time in green nature :)..


This was how i celebrated my fest .
