Hi friends,
Pot painting is the craft of the day.....
Well, This is exclusively for beginners in craft... who are creative yet hesitant ....thinking how to start or from wer to begin with... yeah i know this cos, me too started as beginner and had such thoughts :)
Okay, In this tutorial of pot painting ...in the beginning stage try some color on paper cos to know color combination and of course u need to know to handle brush (paint) if not professionally ... to certain extent .
Things in need :
- Pot of any size(but as a beginner its better to buy smaller pot)
- Fabric paint or acrylic paint (colors of your choice)
- painting brush
- Take the pot and clean its outer surface by using dampen cloth.
- Once the pot is cleaned, let it dry.
- In the shown pot painting, have not used any primary painting, in order to give raw look.
- So start painting on the pot , just give small pat of strokes for painting leaves... and the same method is for painting flower but try to use good combination of colors ..so that it looks bright and elegant.
- Do not make fuss with colors.
- Spread some news paper in the work place so that the floor remains clean from paint.
- After painting let it dry for a day .
- Here I have not coated any varnish coat... again to maintain raw look. But if need can give a coat of varnish and dry this for a day.
And here your first pot painting is ready .... in jiffy
